Stipend: £17,000 – £20,000 p.a. tax free (depending on experience); DEFRA –funded study
Applications are invited for the above 3-year post. This study involves both qualitative and quantitative studies to determine the drivers and motivators associated with antibiotic use by veterinary surgeons, farmers and others involved in the pig industry. The studentship will provide further training in both qualitative approaches and quantitative epidemiology. The post will be based in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at the Leahurst campus.
Applicants should have a degree in veterinary or other relevant biological or social sciences and excellent communication skills.
